The GCE Advanced level, more commonly referred to as the A-levels, is the most common Level 3 qualification taken by students post-GCSE.

The A-level syllabus can be challenging as it is intended to bridge the gap in knowledge and to act as a rigorous course of preparation for higher education such as university and apprenticeships.
