Exam Centres

Our exam centre is AQA, Edexcel, OCR, Cambridge International and EDUQAS approved which means we are able to offer a wide variety of options per our candidates’ preferences with regards to exams. Likewise, due to approval from a number of awarding bodies, we are able to offer examinations for a number of qualifications: GCSE, International GCSE (IGCSE), GCE A-level, International A-levels, BTECs and Functional Skills.

Low Anxiety Environment

Students are able to sit their exams privately at our centre. This is a good alternative from a conventional school as our small and low intensity environment mitigates from the normal exam anxiety that affects overall performance. You will be in a room to yourself without any external influence or distraction.

Ideal for Resitting students

Students who are resitting are likely to find Excellent Academy beneficial as a private exam Centre as it avoids having to deal with the bureaucracy and logistics of a school. Resits can be arranged privately and confidentially with minimal fuss and no administrative fees. We are a three minute walk from Camden Town and Mornington Crescent Underground station.

Entry Deadline Date

Application Form

The process is designed to be as simple and convenient as possible which begins with completing the online application form. Along with your personal information, please include details about the qualifications you wish to pursue. Ideally, this would also include the relevant awarding bodies (exam boards), the subject, and the specification code, including any tier or option where applicable. If you are in any doubt regarding any aspect of the qualification you wish to pursue, you may alternatively contact us directly where we will be happy to assist.

Exam Fees and Invoicing

Following the review and processing of your application, an invoice will be issued to the email address you provided. Please ensure you include a contact telephone number for any questions or concerns. You may complete the payment via electronic banking or in cash if paying in person. Kindly note that your examination entries will not be registered with the awarding organization until either the full payment or the first instalment has been received.

Timetable & Joining Instructions

Timetables and enrolment guidance will be provided once payment is received and the awarding bodies release the examination schedules for your examination series. These will be sent via the email address provided in the application form the Excellent Academy Exams team.

Exams

On your examination day(s), please ensure that you arrive at your designated centre no less than 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time, as indicated on the timetable provided by the Excellent Academy Exams administrators. It is essential that you bring an acceptable form of identification with you. Any exam conflicts, where exams for different subjects are scheduled on the same day and overlap, will be resolved in advance of your exam date. You will be informed of any such conflicts and any arrangements made by Excellent Academy Exam.

What’s next?

After the final examination in your series, we will provide you with a PDF document which will detail the results and appeals processes respectively.

Examination Results

Results/grades are issued by Awarding Organisation on prescribed dates for each examination series, typically this is approximately two months after the final examination has taken place. Upon receipt, we will immediately notify you of your results/grades electronically via the Excellent Academy Exam’s email.

Certificates Issued

Certificates are typically issued by the awarding organizations 15 weeks after results have been finalized. They will be sent to the address you provided via 2nd Class Signed For post, so please ensure your address is current. If you require international delivery, additional fees may apply.
